SHATILA REFUGEE CAMP,
BEIRUT, THE LEBANON.

Ron travelled to The Lebanon to
document the visit of a group of
UK teachers to the Palestinian
refugee camps including those in
Beirut, Sidon and Tyre.

These photographs are taken in
the refugee camp of Shatila in
Beirut. Shatila is roughly 100
metres square and is home to
around 15,000 refugees.

Shatila has become synonomous
with the massacre of civilians that
took place there in 1982.
